Scott spent the majority of 2003 designing and directing all aspects of Audio for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of Rugby World Cup 2003 at Telstra Stadium. Scott was responsible for the following for Rugby World Cup 2003:

• Loudspeaker system design and implementation.
• Control system design and implementation.
• Monitor system design and implementation.
• Cabling infrastructure design and implementation.
• The artistic direction of the audio program material both in the stadium and for the broadcast.
• Technical crew selection for key roles.
• Overall responsibility for the sound of every RWC Ceremonies event for 2003.
