The Catholic World Youth Day (WYD) was held in August of 2008 at various sites throughout Sydney. Auditoria was engaged to design and manage all technical elements (excluding lighting) of every major venue. This included audio, radio communications, production communications, simultaneous translation, technical data networks, CCTV systems, lighting data networks, video screens, local video production facilities and integration with the host broadcaster. The image in this page is from the final mass where an estimated 380,000 people attended Randwick Racecourse for the pinnacle event of the weeklong festival.
